Customer Behavior

Customer behavior is a marketing discipline that studies the activities performed by customers as they interact with a company or brand, and the factors that lead customers to behave the way they do. This includes all the emotional, psychological and behavioral aspects of customer activities, before, during and after. Customer behavior is affected by emotions, attitudes and preferences, and is also influenced by each consumer’s unique personality, demographics, lifestyle and many other factors. While customer behavior is often difficult to predict, new developments in CRM marketing technology now make it practical for marketers to predict future customer behavior and to use this knowledge to communicate more effectively with their customers.
